The breadth of data that plastic wrapping companies possess, like that of all other industries, could provide a great opportunity to locate efficiency opportunities. Embedded digital systems, processes, sensors, data, and analytics are assisting packaging manufacturers in making smart decisions, automating processes, and meeting efficiency and cost-cutting targets – all of which fall under the purview of IoT.
