The survey indicates that the majority of the population in Taiwan believes that 4G services provide adequate speed and quality for their daily use and do not warrant the additional cost of upgrading to 5G.
Despite these findings, there is a growing interest in 5G technology and its capabilities in Taiwan. As a result, there has been a surge in applications for 5G devices as people look to explore the potential benefits of the new technology.
However, the masses still believe that a massive upgrade is needed for the 5G network infrastructure to provide more consistent and widespread coverage. That is because the current 5G speeds are only convenient in certain areas, and people are looking for wider availability and higher speeds.
Nevertheless, the growing interest in 5G has put pressure on service providers to invest in upgrading their infrastructure and expanding 5G coverage.
Ten Brazilian Cities Struggle With Lack of 5G Laws
A recent survey from Brazil discovered that ten cities in the country do not have 5G laws, causing problems for the government in their efforts to impose mandatory 5G installations.
These laws play a crucial role in regulating the infrastructure and installation processes, as well as other legal requirements for 5G implementation. Unfortunately, the absence of 5G laws in these cities has made it difficult for the government to enforce regulations and standards for 5G installation, leading to uncertainty and confusion for service providers and consumers alike.
The Brazilian government set regulations to ensure nationwide 5G coverage by 2025. The regulations call for one 5G antenna for every 9000 to 10,000 people, with the government authorizing the “3.GHz” spectrum for use in 5G networks.
